If you or your family has ever provided in-home health care for an elderly or sick relative, you know how difficult it can be and how much time and energy it requires. Adding to the burden can be the financial cost of necessary medical equipment, which is often expensive.
Jesus taught us love and compassion through his healing hands and heart. We pray for those gentle souls who reach out to the sick and the dying just as Jesus taught us to do.
Zion accepts donations of durable medical equipment (DME) such as walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, canes, tub and shower chairs. This equipment is then loaned or given to persons in need, without regard to age, race, sex, religion or national origin. If you would like to donate or have need of such equipment, please call the church office at 683-3811 or come to 625 Allen Street, Owensboro, KY.
For additional information on durable medical equipment, click on this link to the federal government Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services web site.
